For my fellow blind ladies, this is for you; make your problem a fashion statement. If you are like me, with more that one issue with your eyes, a great option for accessorizing are your glasses. Many designers have created some really nice collections and it’s very noticeable that thick, geek frames are sooooo in. But remember not just because something is in, its might look good.
To know what type of frame works for you need to know the shape of your face. A good way to find out is looking at your self in the mirror, get a bar of soap and try to draw the silhouette of you face on the mirror.
Square

Emporio Armani 9369
Try oval and round frames. Glasses with temples that are center set or that connect at the top of the frame are also great!
Say no to: Geometric and square shaped frames that accentuate angles of the face
low-set temples or color accents on the bottom of the frames that draw emphasis to the chin
Oval

Ray Ban Rx 5133
Ladies with this shape of face are extremely lucky because most frame shapes work with you
Say no to: even though all shapes work try to avoid frames that are too large for your features.
Round

Prada
Angular and geometric frames that sharpen facial features work great!
Say no to: round frames that make your face look rounder and large frames that shorten your face
Diamond

Burberry 1093
Cool styles like cat eye that emphasize the cheek bones are fabulous also oval frames that maintain balance.
Say no to: Narrow frames that draw attention to narrow eye line
Heart

Marc Jacobs 135U
Try bottom-heavy frames that add width to lower face
Say no to: Top-heavy styles that draw attention upward
